The NSW Government is investing $8.6 billion in school infrastructure over the next four years, continuing its program to deliver 160 new and upgraded schools to support communities across NSW. This builds on the more than $9.1 billion invested in projects delivered since 2017, a program of $17.7 billion in public education infrastructure.
Our kids’ education means everything to us – they are the next leaders, the future workforce and the foundation of communities for generations to come.
We are delivering once-in-a-generation school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies that will ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school.
This is our big chance to renew and improve our ageing school buildings. It will change the way our classrooms are designed, creating open-planned, interactive and multipurpose indoor and outdoor spaces that includes state-of-the-art technology.
Our vision is to deliver the very best school infrastructure so that the NSW public education system is one of the finest in the world.
