About Scanpoint B.V.
Founded originally as Scangineers B.V. in 1999 by former employees of Scantech B.V., Scanpoint developed into a mature developer and producer of Self Service Checkouts for the retail market. Scanpoint B.V. was acquired in 2009 by ITAB, a Swedish Shopfitter that wanted to expand their portfolio of traditional Checkouts with self service and fully automatic checkouts. Scanpoints acitivities have now been fully integrated in ITAB
