The Sammons Recruitment Group, established in 1957, was acquired by father and daughter team, Martyn Smith (linkedin.com/in/martynrobertsmith) and Harriet Smith (linkedin.com/in/harriet-smith-201) in 2019, with the purpose of creating, from this platform, a recruitment group through a buy and build strategy. As part of the planned expansion, Sammons acquired Brightred Resourcing, a specialist in the IT sector, and which is now the cornerstone for a new technology recruitment division of Sammons. Sammons now has three divisions: Sammons Recruitment Solutions: a generalist recruitment consultancy, providing Permanent, Temporary and Contract recruitment solutions across a variety of sectors. Sammons Pensions Recruitment: a specialist, award-winning provider of recruitment services for the Occupational Pensions industry for all roles, including trustees; pensions directors & managers; and actuaries & administrators. Brightred Resourcing: a well established provider of skilled talent providing Interim, Contractors and Permanent placements in the IT sector, across many areas including DevOps, Cloud, Digitalisation, Cybersecurity, ERP and Automation.
