Salesian College Sunbury

Salesian College Sunbury is the oldest Salesian educational foundation in Australia established by the Salesian Society in 1927. The College occupies the grounds of the historic Rupertswood Mansion which was built by William John Clarke in 1874. The College has always maintained a unique and expansive environment including a farm precinct and a mansion used as the gateway to the College, administration and holding special events. Salesian College Sunbury is a vibrant learning and faith community enabling young men and women to become life-long learners and appreciate the value of education. Our recent developments include a cafeteria with decking area, spacious well-being centre and our year 9 Mazzarello Campus that offers an integrated curriculum focused on applied learning utilising the rural setting, including the farm. A new performing arts centre resides on the lower level of the original Mansion Ballroom, while above is a spacious senior art space. In 2014 the College divided into three campuses: • Years 7 & 8 Savio Campus • Year 9 Mazzarello Campus • Year 10, 11 & 12 Bosco Campus The success of the College is based on the enriching curriculum, serene environment and the four pillars of its vision: Community, Learning, Excellence and Faith.
