Intégrée fin 2018 au Groupe SANERGRID, SONEC développe l' activité “Services et Installation” des entités du groupe notamment SANERGRID et SYNERDIS. En 2020 notamment, SONEC devient la première société en Europe certifiée par Kolektor ETRA et disposant du label KESA (Kolektor ETRA Service Ability) lui autorisant la supervision globale des chantiers d’installation pour le compte du fabricant.
Historiquement concepteur depuis 2007 de solutions de rétention, tous les bacs à extinction et les systèmes coupe-feu sont validés par le CNPP laboratoire français du feu à Vernon (certificat PE 11 8643A suivant cahier des charges ERDF).
Le groupe SANERGRID consolide ainsi avec SONEC sa position de leader français depuis sur le marché du bac de rétention pour transformateurs avec une fabrication française et des produits conformes aux dernières normes NF-C13-200 et 17-300.
