SAOL provides services for female drug users and their children. The SAOL Project has an on-going commitment to there women, children and community members of the North Inner City. As the city continues to develop, we respond to the changing needs of the women who participate in our project with creativity and commitment.
SAOL helps their women deal with the stigma around being a using woman/mother, the impact drug use might have on their children/families, and also fears about losing their children because of their drug use. SAOL works with their women 6 days a week to provide an essential service. SAOL facilitates daily education programs, harm reduction programs and social evenings. We also hold different day programs that benefit different users of the project.
Reach outs have now become a large part of SAOLs Covid-19 practices. There is also a day-care on-site called SAOL BEAG.
