Beginning with small “fixer-upper” projects in the early 1980s, Mike Rose, the founder of what was then called Washington Properties, quickly developed a passion for working with public, private, and nonprofit partners on a variety of larger, community-wide projects. As a strong believer in making central business districts genuine destinations, Mike has underwritten and sponsored a variety of public events in the communities in which his company operates, and he will continue to do so in every locality that Rose Company enters. Currently, Rose Company’s revitalized commercial and residential properties include a variety of attractive retail storefronts and professional office suites as well as mixed-use developments featuring market-rate residential lofts.
