Robert B Gibson Auto Sales is one of the oldest Buy Here-Pay Here Auto dealerships in New Mexico. The Gibson family opened their first location in Albuquerque, in November 1944 by Robert B Gibson, Sherman Gibson and Walter Gibson. Robert B Gibson Auto Sales has been at the current location since 1955. In 1962, the Gibson's helped establish the New Mexico Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NMIADA). Many members of the Gibson family have served on the board on the State and National Independent Dealers Association. The Gibson family business services the State of New Mexico, specifically the Albuquerque area, specializing in good, affordable, used vehicles with in-house and bank financing.
