About Retake

Retake is a nonprofit that offers free photos and family portraits to people who have lost their homes and belongings due to disasters or to people who are from war-torn or conflict areas and are now refugees, migrants, immigrants, asylum seekers, or displaced people. We create new keepsakes as they rebuild their lives.

We listen to their stories, have simple and easy photoshoots that captures what's important to them, and then deliver professionally edited, printed, and framed photos to them. We create new memories that can be passed ​down to future generations.
