Proactive Hazmat is a full service hazardous materials abatement contractor based in Langley BC. Our Expert Estimating and Project Management Staff has over 100 years of industry experience. Primarily removing and disposing of asbestos and lead containing materials for the construction industry we also do work for healthcare facilities, restoration contractors, cities and municipalities, property management firms, education facilities, and for leading consulting groups. We perform infection control work and hoarding in hospitals and our Foremen are certified to the CSA standards for infection control in healthcare facilities; which means we are qualified and competent in the area of setting up environmental controls for your construction activities in any healthcare facility. We have been a COR (Certificate Of Recognition) company since 2010 so our Occupational Health and Safety Program has undergone stringent audits. We also subscribe to, and have been accredited by, Complyworks and ContractorCheck. A number of our clients require this accreditation prior to being qualified to work on their projects. Our Estimating team is AHERA certified and can assist you with direction when it comes to best practices while taking samples for testing. While we are not a consulting group we can offer good advice and make arrangements to meet with a qualified consultant regarding your project.
