About Princess Promise
Princess Promise is a faith-based organization that exists to equip and empower vulnerable young girls in Sierra Leone, Africa to live abundant lives in Christ. By partnering with a local Sierra Leonean ministry, we provide 30 girls with long-term residential care, counseling, tutoring and other resources they need to heal from their past and hope for their future.
Princess Promise is an official NGO that is committed to investing deeply in the girls that come into our care as referred into our care by the Ministry of Social Welfare.
In Sierra Leone, Africa, as a result of a civil war and Ebola virus, over 300,000 children were left orphaned. These orphaned children were subject to neglect and abuse of all forms, leaving them vulnerable in their very communities with no long-term solutions for safety. Princess Promise provides safety and loving, Christ-centered care to some of the most vulnerable young girls in Sierra Leone. We strive to empower our girls to heal, grow and thrive in their communities to turn their past of tragedy to a future of triumph.
