About Popdevelop
Popdevelop started as a hobby project. In fact the name Popdevelop was originally used for this blog only. We started to write articles and reflections just for fun. We found that after reading things by of blogs like Smashing Magazine, UX Magazine, Johnny Holland, MIX etc. we could add by writing from a programmers point of view.
After a while we started to use Popdevelop as an umbrella for all our personal projects. We figured that by using a common name we could get more attention than when we struggle as individuals. After all, we’d already worked a lot together, so why not brand it all Popdevelop?
Six months later we are a company, Popdevelop AB. We still do programming because we love it. We still blog about tech stuff. We’ve started participating in hacker events as a team. We’ve started to meet more people instead of just sitting in Brissmyr’s kitchen in our underwear hacking all night long.
