Penta is the digital platform for business banking aimed at SMEs and startups. We are on the mission to disrupt business banking in Europe and worldwide. Our vision is to build a platform of connected services around a bank account which would allow business owners to use one platform for all their financial needs. Our founders, all serial entrepreneurs, many times had terrible experiences with their business banks. In February 2016, they happened to discuss the issue with a group of fellow entrepreneurs and soon after they set out on a journey to create the most advanced bank for SMEs. Penta launched in Germany in January 2018 and raised over 8 Mio. EUR in August 2019, in an investment round (series A) led by HV Holtzbrinck Ventures. In March 2020 Penta closed its series B and raised 18.5 Mio. Euro with existing investors HV Holtzbrinck and finleap as well as new investors RTP Global, ABN AMRO Ventures and VR-Ventures. Questions?
