PSG College of Arts and Science is a premier institution started in the year 1947 by the PSG & Sons Charities Trust, Coimbatore. The College has been enjoying full academic freedom since 1978 and it has been reaccredited at A Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the third cycle and has an ISO 9001:2008 Certification from TUV-Rheinland, Germany. It is identified as a “College with Potential for Excellence” by University Grants Commission (UGC). The College has also got the credit of Star College Status awarded by DBT-MST with the maximum number of departments covered under the scheme.
