Manufacturer of General Alarm / Public Address (PA/GA) systems, specifically targeted at harsh & hazardous industrial applications such as offshore, marine, chemical, petrochemical, military & nuclear installations.
Vodec build industrially-hardened PA/GA systems, designed around high power audio amplifiers, with secure & monitored connections from microphones to loudspeakers & alert beacons. These systems aim to guarantee delivery of life & safety critical voice messages & alarm tones to plant personnel in the most severe environments, whether that be in a machinery space on an offshore oil rig or a nuclear power plant, a refinery tank farm or a remote pumping station. Various levels of operational redundancy can be provided, from hot spare, N+1 or complete A+B systems.
Product performance is based on a variety of standards (IMO-SOLAS, PFEER, NORSOK) and many pieces of equipment are approved for hazardous area installation.
