INTRODUCTION
We started in 1985 as an electrical contracting company; in 1997 we set up a City & Guilds Centre to provide Education and Training courses for the Electrical Industry.
CONTRACTING
We carryout a wide range of work including Agricultural, Industrial, Commercial, complete installations Listed Buildings, churches, hazardous areas, motor vehicle workshops.
P & R Hurt provide Education & Training courses for the Electrical Industry in a spacious building with good parking, classrooms, meeting rooms, specialist training areas, workshop, assessment rooms accommodating modern practical facilities
Courses for the Electrical and Hazardous Area Industry:
ExF Foundation Unit: Underpinning knowledge unit only to give an overview of the requirements of working safely in a explosive atmosphere.
Ex01 & Ex02 The preparation, installation and Inspection of Ex ‘d’, ‘n’, ‘e’ and ‘p’ electrical equipment in explosive atmospheres
Ex03 & Ex04 The preparation, installation and inspection of Ex 'i' equipment and systems in explosive atmospheres
Ex04 The inspection and maintenance of Ex 'i' equipment and systems in explosive atmospheres
Ex05 & Ex06 The preparation, installation and inspection of electrical equipment protected by enclosure, for use in Explosive Dust Atmospheres
EX07 & EX08 Electrical Installations in Filling Stations
EX09 & EX10 WATER INDUSTRY EXPLOSIVE ATMOSPHERE TRAINING
The courses includes guidelines to identify and assess Hazardous Areas ensuring compliance with legislation including the European ATEX Directives and the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres (DSEA) Regulations.
