About National Network Of Public Health Institutes

Created in 2001 as a forum for public health institutes (PHIs), today the National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) convenes its members and partners at the local, state, and national levels in efforts to address critical health issues. Dedicated to the vision of improving public health through innovation, NNPHI is the national membership network committed to helping PHIs promote and sustain improved health and wellness for all.

NNPHI is an active membership network, offering services like educational programming and technical assistance, as well as access to national public health partners, online tools, and resources nationwide.

NNPHI currently has 37 members in 27 states. Members are organizations that align with NNPHI’s mission and the definition of a public health institute: an organization that improves public health capacity, systems and outcomes by fostering innovation, leveraging resources, and building partnerships to improve the public's health.
