NSW Police Legacy is a strong and compassionate charity that cares for and supports past and present police and their families to ensure that they thrive in times of tragedy and need. For 26 years, NSW Police Legacy has been providing emotional and financial support to the widows, widowers and dependent children of police officers. We don’t discriminate. Regardless of whether the police officer was serving, retired or the circumstances of their death, our obligation is to the partners and children they leave behind – our legatees. NSW Police Legacy is committed to: Supporting all police families who have suffered a loss by providing professional, caring and compassionate services; Providing benefits, services and advocacy to those in our care, Recognising the unique role of police, both serving and retired in the community, and the risks associated with the role, and Conducting charitable business in a transparent and ethical manner in the best interest of those whose care we have been entrusted.
