Founded in 1985 by the Vaz family, our school director, Nimal Vaz, M.Ed. is an internationally-recognized early childhood educator and former AMI teacher trainer. She grew up under the tutelage of Dr. Maria Montessori along with her aunt who was Montessori's research partner. Mrs. Vaz was an AMI trainer, examiner and consultant for 25 years and has taught and directed Montessori schools globally for over 50 years. Our school is located on a restored Horticultural Ranch, providing children with endless opportunities for nature-based learning and play.
