About Middle Border Forward

Middle Border Forward (MBF) was established in December 2015 as the capstone project of an 18-month fellowship of emerging grassroots leaders in the region sponsored by Danville Regional Foundation. Today, as an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, MBF is on a mission to inspire meaningful community engagement and cultivate effective leadership to create a stronger future for the Middle Border Region. The Middle Border region being the City of Danville, Pittsylvania County, and Caswell County.

MBF’s work is focused on six identified pillars of community development:

-Health & Wellness
-Infrastructure.
