Melchioni was founded in 1947 by Mario Melchioni, becoming almost immediately a leading distributor in Europe on the electronic market. During the years Melchioni played ahead, anticipating market changes and offering products and services tailored to future needs.
Melchioni, joint-stock company since 1955, operates through Melchioni Electronics (the leading independent distributor of electronic components in Italy), Melchioni Ready (the new e-commerce of electronics) and Melchioni Motion (specialized in the design and production of air conditioning systems for special vehicles). Today, the Group has around 160 employees, five locations worldwide, a 24,000 m² warehouse and a global turnover of 200 millions, including the participation in Sharp.
