Founded in 1948, The Mauritius Union Assurance Cy. Ltd is a Mauritian-based group that operates in the financial services industry, specialising mainly in short-term insurance (through Mauritius Union General Insurance) and long-term insurance (through La Prudence Life Insurance). We provide additional financial services by giving housing, educational and vehicle loans. The Group comprises four subsidiaries. Feber Associates Ltd, National Mutual Fund Ltd (NMF) and Phoenix TransAfrica Holdings Ltd are fully owned subsidiaries. The Group also owns an 80% stake in Associated Brokers Ltd (ABL). Feber Associates specialises in the implementation and management of pension funds for enterprises. NMF is a fund management company, focusing on collective investments schemes. ABL provides stock broking services and is also a member of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius Ltd. Since 2014, the Mauritius Union Group is also present in Africa through its acquisition of the Phoenix TransAfrica Holdings Ltd.
