MNclude

We're launching MNclude to create a safe and supportive community of individuals and peer groups in the Minnesota tech industry. Our members are individuals who are committed to taking actionable steps towards building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive local tech community. We want to support, empower, and equip individuals and community groups with the tools and resources needed to make a lasting change. We’ve established three focus areas to support our mission: Awareness, Engagement, Support. AWARENESS We want to build *awareness* of the efforts already happening in our local community to address inequities in tech. We also want to bring more awareness to the gaps... who is not being heard or supported and how can we help them? ENGAGEMENT We want to increase *engagement* of the community in D&I efforts. We want to help individuals find ways to take action in their communities, their workplaces or even in their own homes. SUPPORT We want to help support the community leaders from underrepresented groups who are doing the hard work. How can we enable them to scale and grow? How can we support them?
