MCISSE CyberPatriot Page

MCISSE was founded in 2006 as a result of the University of Detroit Mercy's Center of Academic Excellence's call for membership with other educators, government and industry partners that wished to focus on Cyber Security Education Awareness. What started off in 2006 with UDM , Henry Ford Community College and Oakland Community College, is now a regional group of Universities, Colleges, High Schools, Middle Schools, governmental partners and Industry supporters. MCISSE was recently chosen as the 13th Center of Excellence for the National Cyber Patriot Program for it's efforts in growing the CP program across Michigan. It is our hope that not only will we help seed the pipeline by getting as many Michigan students excited about Cyber Security by taking part in this competition, but we will also be helping to make more citizens aware of the dangers of not being Cyber Secure.
