A member of the UNITED GRINDING Group Karl Mägerle and his brother Max founded Gebrüder Mägerle GmbH in 1929 as a company for trading in metal goods. This was followed by the acquisition of the Fritz Wunderli AG grinding machine business three years later, enabling the company's entry into the grinding industry.
