Learning African

Learning African is a volunteer driven Non-Governmental Organization established to provide access to education for under-served children, the generation who will champion the cause of development in the world in the coming years. She runs the Learning Young Leaders Academy (LYLA) an initiative set to groom the next generation of African leaders, taking them on the core of leadership, administration and entrepreneurship. LYLA Cohort 1 impacted 38 children between age 15 and 21 and birth forth our first student inspired community project Book-Tribe Abadina. Book Tribe Abadina is a project set to instill the reading culture in the minds of students from Abadina Collage. The project entail refurbishing the school library, getting more books into the library and organizing regular book reviews about books gotten from the library with incentives for students who show evidence of regular use of the library. Learning African also Rethink podcast, a podcast set to inspire young adult to reach beyond their limit. Since inception we have had 4 amazing achievers share their growth stories with us and our podcast has reached United States, Liberia, Germany, Singapore, Ireland. She has also worked with a leadership campaign to help young adult have a rethink of wrong leadership cultures they have picked up from the leaders around them in the society. The High School Leadership campaign was launched September 2020 with social media has a main tool to access more young adult age 15 and 21. Through this we reached Nigeria, United states, Ghana and Liberia.
