About Kill-Switch
Kill-Switch was founded in late 2018 with one main purpose: To provide organisations with a tool to immediately close down certain parts of the it-infrastructure. This tool is especially valuable in case an attack should occur, and an ideal layer of protection to base the incident response plan around.
Kill-Switch was born due to the sudden spread of WannaCry and Petya/NotPetya in 2016 and 2017 that left businesses worldwide paralyzed.
The attack left corporations with an important reminder: hackers will continue to find ways to get into your systems, even with the best firewalls installed. Something was missing.
In today’s IT operations, companies often rely on manual interaction when a virus or cyberattack is spreading.
