The Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion (ISI) is the first and the only human rights NGO dedicated to working on statelessness at the global level.
Mission
Our mission is to promote inclusive societies by realising and protecting the right to a nationality.
Vision
Our vision is the global realisation and protection of the right to a nationality and inclusion for all to fulfil other human rights, reduce poverty and inequality, and counter discrimination and intolerance.
Our values
Inclusivity and Collaboration: We strive for a working culture that values, encourages and benefits from the contributions of all, and promotes collective decision making, action and responsibility. We place an emphasis on working in true partnership, strengthened by mutual learning.
Critical Mindedness and Innovation: We place strong emphasis on independent, rigorous and strategic analysis of problems and potential solutions. We value continued learning and exploring creative approaches to solutions, including through using technology.
Openness and Responsibility: We strive towards transparency in what we do and how we do it. We have a strong sense of responsibility towards the mission we serve, underlying an open access philosophy to the knowledge and tools we generate.
