About InstallCo Computer Services
InstallCo Computer Services was formed in 1998 to service a contract with US WEST (which later became Qwest Communications) by performing computer hardware and software installations for customers with VDSL high-speed Internet and digital video and phone services. In addition, InstallCo got into small business computer support and on-site computer repair and upgrades for home users.
During the life of the contract, tens of thousands of customers in the Greater Phoenix and Denver areas were served by InstallCo. By 2002 the company was winding down due to the changing nature of the primary contract with Qwest, and the remaining installation services were sold to employees to continue running around 2003.
