Hyundai Motorsport GmbH

Established on 19 December 2012 and based in Alzenau, near Frankfurt in Germany, Hyundai Motorsport GmbH is responsible for Hyundai’s global motorsport activities. Its portfolio of series features flagship participation in the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) and electric circuit racing (ETCR). In addition, the company’s Customer Racing activities, which include involvement in Rally2, have helped enhance Hyundai’s high-performance image to consumers around the world. Racing department was created with the aim of enhancing Hyundai’s motorsport image around the world with the Hyundai i20 R5 rally car and the Hyundai i30 N TCR, Veloster N TCR and Elantra N TRC for circuit racing.
