Hullco

Hullco Exteriors was founded by Bill Hullander in 1977, originally selling Buck Stoves. In the 1980’s Hullco began manufacturing vinyl storm windows in partnership with the TVA Energy Right Program. This grew into a large operation, including producing windows for Sears Home Improvement and area consumers. In the mid-1990’s Hullco became the exclusive Marvin dealer in Chattanooga. As technology changed and demand grew, Hullco ceased the manufacturing operation in 2001 and began buying from large manufacturers in addition to being Chattanooga’s Marvin dealer. In 2006, Marvin opened a retail location, eliminating the need for a dealer. With Marvin sales representing over $1 million of Hullco’s annual sales, Hullco faced an instant 25% decline in revenue. New owner Matt Hullander began an advertising campaign to maintain the company’s revenue, as well as became an equity owner in Sunrise Windows. Hullco maintained a level of nearly $4 million in annual sales, now including $1 million dollars in annual installed sales. Located at 7110 E. Brainerd Rd, the company serves the surrounding areas by making homes lower maintenance, more energy efficient, and absolutely beautiful. Offering windows, doors, siding, gutter protection, sunrooms, and screenrooms, Hullco now employs 22 individuals, along with providing work for many subcontractors. Hullco is active in the Chattanooga community with Habitat for Humanity, the Community Kitchen, and many other charities and nonprofit organizations.
