Hifi has over 60 patents, and was the 2013 winner of the ASTech award presented by the Alberta Science and Technology Leadership Foundation for outstanding achievements in science and technology, the Global Petroleum Show 2019 Digital Innovator of the Year award, the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association (CEPA) Foundation 2019 Innovation award, and the 2021 Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation Leadership Award for excellence in the fiber optic sensing industry.
