What is it? A learning community like no other. An easily accessible social learning platform that can help you when you need it for better health. What problem does it solve? The first learning community we build is for young healthcare professionals. 1 out of 2 young healthcare professionals leaves their job within 2 years' time. A huge loss for the professional and the organization. A problem that needs to be solved. Various causes can be related to this trend. Our research shows that they feel a lack of security. They keep challenges to themselves. With all the negative consequences. We're up to this challenge - let's make it change! We created an online peer-to-peer social learning platform. With a unique methodology behind it. A methodology that has one purpose. Understand what drives others in their search for better health and translate that into very practical insights. Insights that we share with groups of users or individual users so they don't have to search but can take ownership faster and more effectively. Insights are based on larger groups of like-minded people. Who built it? We founded Health-Thing because we truly believe that people have to spend too much time learning what actually improves their health effectively. Right now we are simply not able to learn from larger groups of like-minded people. Standard communities don't do the job. Personal experiences of our founder inspired him to found Health-Thing. As a patient with traumatic brain injury he wanted to learn from the vast amount of people with TBI. An impossible challenge. With Health-Thing we build the solution he craved when he needed it. There is so much knowledge that we have at hand but no tools that bring this knowledge together.
