Founded in 1960, but relaunched in 2012 with funding and support from a range of leading housing providers, HACT is a charity, social enterprise and industry-focused think/do tank established by the housing association sector. We seek to influence and innovate in ways which help all housing providers deliver more effectively within their communities. HACT believes that the provision of housing is about more than just bricks and mortar – that housing providers are at their most successful when they focus on the social value they create, engage with and invest in their communities and actively seek to identify and meet the needs of those who live in them.
