Overview: Gulf Diagnostic Center Hospital is one of the leading healthcare provider in the Abu Dhabi private sector. GDC Hospital was inaugurated in 1996 by the late Dr. Awad Kaddoura. We have grown from a Diagnostic Center into a Hospital, offering a full range of healthcare services including Operating Theatres and In-Patient facilities. The Imaging and Laboratory services in our hospital use leading technology to deliver outstanding medical care. The GDC is equipped with the latest and most advanced medical equipment, Certifications and Awards: - JCI Accreditation: GDC Hospital was accredited in 2009 and is working with Joint Commission International (JCI) to ensure we continue to provide a high standard of patient care. The partnership will help us focus on areas that directly impact upon our patients including standards for facility management and safety, quality improvement, hospital leadership and information management. - Sheikh Khalifa Excellency Gold Award 2013: GDC Hospital won the Sheikh Khalifa Excellency Gold Award 2013 for demonstrating a continuous improvement over the past performance & delivering the highest quality of health care and services. - Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award: GDC Hospital was awarded the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award in 2011 for the excellence of services provided in the field of healthcare. The Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award has been designed to recognize the achievement of organizations that demonstrate high performance and a journey of continuous improvement. -DAMAN GDC Hospital was awarded the highest category of A+ by the National Health Authority (DAMAN).
