About Genetic Analysis AS
Genetic Analysis AS (GA) is positioned to become a world leader within the field of molecular in-vitro diagnostics of diseases related to gut imbalances.
Based on the patented DNA-based GA-map® platform technology, profiles of patient’s gut microbiota is quickly generated and can be related to various health conditions.
Our first product, the GA-map® Dysbiosis Test helps Gastroenterologists to measure and monitor gut microbiota status in patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
This is the first dysbiosis test which is commercially available, standardised, CE-marked and clinically validated (50 clinical trials + 30 publications).
Further clinical applications for the tests are in areas such as diagnosis, disease severity course, treatment prediction and monitoring within both IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) where the need of clinical data and validation is required.
GA is thus very active in these fields.
Other areas of interest are metabolic disease including diabetes type 2.
