GRIDIRON manufactures distributed energy resources that solve the inefficiencies of the electric grid by generating power, cooling, and heating onsite, while balancing other available sources of power such as renewables. GRIDIRON is catalyzing peer-to-peer, sustainable, on-site power generation. Utilities have a problem in that the electric grid is highly inefficient with over 70% losses, and very costly to build out. Our solution is the generation of power locally using gas or propane that directly support renewable sources like solar panels, while producing carbon emissions lower than the grid. Our systems deliver energy to the electrical, mechanical, and thermal loads for a facility, and can support each other in a microgrid capacity. Manufactured in the USA, GRIDIRON's micro Combined Cooling, Heat and Power systems (MCCHP) are designed from the ground up to be used by utilities, natural gas companies, and end users to provide reliable power and operational cost savings. With smart network and remote management capabilities built in, service providers can rapidly deploy and manage microgrids and distributed generation assets.
