About First Gen Support
At First Gen Support, we aim to provide advice for first-gen, low income, and/or immigrant students to help them successfully navigate through high school and transition to college. We found that public high schools do not provide enough support for first-gen students.
First Gen Support is here to serve as an information hub of high school tips, college application advice, and free resources to fully equip you.
On this open platform, students will be able to share their unique high school experiences as a first-gen student.
We believe that in order to bridge the gap of educational disparity in high school and beyond, first, we need to empower first-gen students, and second, people need to better understand the challenges that first-gen students face.
Currently, we are an Instagram platform but looking to expand to a fully functioning website.
