About Fastbleep

Fastbleep is a social enterprise with a clear aim; to promote learning, creativity and discovery for all in healthcare and life-sciences education. Established in Manchester in 2010 by a partnership of medical and computer science students, Fastbleep has grown into a new vision for education.

Fastbleep Medical Notes was the first Fastbleep project. It is a free, peer-led resource geared towards finals-level clinical medicine. There are currently over 1,000 Notes articles currently online, with a team that encompasses over 25 editors and 1,200 authors from 20 countries. Visitors to the Notes site number over 80,000 monthly, with regular visitors in excess of 20,000. 2013 saw the launch of Fastbleep Biology Notes, using existing Medical Notes model which was new to the life sciences field.

Fastbleep Schools is a busy programme that engages school students with careers in healthcare. Based in Greater Manchester, the Schools team runs sessions for 11-18 year olds at their schools, invites students to the hospital site for our award-winning Scrubs Days, and runs a mentoring and application preparation for college/sixth form students.

Fastbleep Events is our educational event programme that aims to foster capacity in technology, education and enterprise for healthcare.
