FMB Technology

FMB Technology has developed a mobile application that tracks public school buses for parents and students. Allowing students to wait inside for their school bus on those cold winter mornings, as well as put parents at ease when rushing home to pick up their child from the bus stop. FMB Technology was created in 2013 by a group of 5 high school students in the groundbreaking Barrington High School Business Incubator Program. While in the program the team was guided by multiple mentors that helped them develop a startup company. At the end of the program FMB had to compete with 32 teams to win funding ,in a shark tank kind of atmosphere, to get the company off the ground and they won. Afterwards the company has been developing its mobile application and been working to implement it in schools nation wide. The team has been expanding, gaining new employees as well as greater connections to lead the company to success. Making a strong connection with an application development team in downtown Chicago and gaining the support of the largest family owned school bus company in the nation has been crucial for the future of FMB.
