Eyeroes

Eyeroes offers screening and treatment for a visual disturbance affecting 150 million children in the world. This disorder is known as amblyopia, or « lazy eye » and refers to a strong difference in visual acuity between the two eyes. The lazy eye seeing poorly, it is quickly abandoned in favor of the good eye, which causes irreversible damages to the vision if it isn’t treated before the age of 6. Eyeroes is proposing an innovative solution to detect the problem using an anaglyph-based book. The start-up comes even further by offering a video game solution to treat amblyopia in a playful way and without forcing children to wear the usual unsightly eye-patch.
