Founded in 1975, the School of Engineering of University of Minho (EEUM) has been committed to the world of research, development and innovation and today has a notable reputation as an international institution of higher education in engineering. Through this route, and by its Vision, it assumes itself as an essential actor in the network of European higher education institutions. Composed of 9 departments that work in the scientific areas of its competence, EEUM offers a wide portfolio of teaching projects with a strong connection to the industry. Research, Development and Innovation (R&D) activities, including 3rd cycle training, are organized to ensure the integration of all teachers/researchers in their 9 research centers.
