Edward Hospital & Health Services, part of Edward-Elmhurst Health, is a full-service, regional healthcare provider located in Naperville Illinois offering access to complex medical specialties and innovative programming. Edward Hospital has 317 private patient rooms and 4,300 employees, including 1,450 nurses and a medical staff of 920 physicians comprised of independent members of the medical staff, employed physicians and independent contractors. The physicians represent more than 60 medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties. More than 98% of Edward’s physicians are board certified in their specialty.
Edward serves the residents of Chicago’s west and southwest suburbs, including Naperville, Aurora, Bolingbrook, Downers Grove, Homer Glen, Joliet, Lisle, Lockport, Minooka, Oswego, Plainfield, Romeoville, Warrenville, Wheaton, Woodridge and Yorkville.
Edward Hospital, Edward Heart Hospital, Edward Cancer Center and Linden Oaks Behavioral Health are located on a 50-acre campus near downtown Naperville, perennially rated as one of Money magazine’s “Best Places to Live” in the United States. With more than 4,000 employees, Edward is the largest employer in Naperville and one of the largest in DuPage County.
Edward also provides convenient access to high-quality healthcare at numerous locations throughout the region, including the 60-acre Edward Plainfield campus which serves residents of Plainfield and surrounding communities with the Edward Plainfield Outpatient Center, a medical office building and Plainfield Surgery Center.
Edward-Elmhurst Health Centers are also located in Bolingbrook, Naperville, Oswego and Plainfield.
