EdisonX was founded in 2016 and has established the first end-to-end, distributed commerce platform for Movie Merchandise focused around the movie-going experience. We connect the Big Screen to the Small Screen, delivering a unique proposition using patented audio watermarking technology. Movie-goers now have access to additional movie content and curated, related product merchandising direct to their Smartphone in cinema. We have created an exclusive ecosystem that unlocks endless commercial opportunties by combining technology, content and merchandise. We give merchandisers access to the Edison-X platform, enabling them to promote products to movie-goers in-theatre via our traffic partners during the pre show on the Big Screen in conjunction with studio content and immediately post the end of the movie, enabling more effective purchase conversion and giving movie-goers the instant ability to purchase licensed merchandise, in-movie products, and other spin offs. EdisonX has a highly specialised team comprising ecommerce, creative execution and partnerships to ensure we deliver the re-imagining of the cinematic experience.
