About EMSWCD:
The East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District (EMSWCD) is a unit of local government that works east of the Willamette River in Multnomah County. We are led by an elected board of five directors. We work with residents, landowners, and land managers on a voluntary basis to help people care for land and water. All of our work is geared toward keeping lands and waters healthy and sustaining farms, forests, wildlife and communities. Our district is a very diverse place. We serve areas from downtown Portland and Gresham out to the National Forest and our work is designed to fit that diversity.
Our Mission:
Our mission is to help people care for land and water.
