About EachNet
EachNet.com is a Chinese e-commerce company and online trading community that enables its users to buy and sell a wide range of items, from clothing and antique calligraphy to computers and real estate, in both auction and fixed-price formats. EachNet was established in August 1999 by two companies, Shanghai Eachnet Information Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Eachnet Commercial Co., Ltd. On March 17, 2002, eBay and EachNet formed a strategic business relationship. eBay initially invested US$30 million to acquire a 33% interest in the company. On July 16, 2003, eBay completed its investment in EachNet, acquiring all of its remaining outstanding common stockfor US$150 million. In July 2004, EachNet launched its new name, eBay EachNet.
