We have considerable experience of erecting scaffolding and installing systems on contracts that vary in size and complexity. Our fully qualified management team are CISRS qualified scaffolding and safety professionals. Our workforce is directly employed and all CISRS card carrying scaffolders. We take responsibility for all aspects of access and scaffolding packages. We operate stringent work protocols, training and management procedures to maintain safety and efficiency throughout contract periods. INDUSTRY RECOGNITION We are an audited member of the Scaffolding Association and hold SSiP accreditations including: CHAS, Constructionline Gold, Safe Contractor, Acclaim Accredited, Premium member of Builders Profile. SAFETY Safety is an absolute priority and Portway operations are fully compliant with the latest Health & Safety legislation with regard to scaffolding and access. PPE includes safety helmet with 4-point harness, hi-visibility clothing, cleated lace up safety boots, safety gloves, full body safety harness with twin fall arrest lanyard for use during all scaffolding operations and 1.0m fall restraint fixed lanyards (MEWP only), IKAR inertia rescue reels (working on open areas), and tool tethers. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS All our scaffolding staff are CISRS qualified. Levels ranging from trainee through to advanced scaffolders and are directly employed under PAYE. Our management team have more than 200 years industry experience between them holding both scaffolding and safety certification to NEBOSH and IOSH levels.
