Dixie High School

Welcome to Dixie High School, home of the Flyers, located in the heart of Utah’s Dixie. Dixie Spirit is alive and well at our school, where we continue the legacy that begun 106 years ago when Dixie Academy was established in St. George, Utah. Dixie High was forged out of that heritage of hard work, camaraderie, and a commitment to excellence in every endeavor. We are mindful of this heritage as we encourage our students to excel in the classroom, on the playing field, and in service to the community. These characteristics are expressed in our school mission statement: Our Mission at Dixie High School is to develop capable, caring, and contributing citizens who exemplify the school’s historic motto: “Pace deo a posse ad esse” – from possibility to reality. As we look to the future, we are committed to working collaboratively as a Professional Learning Community, seeking to continually improve the academic performance of our students and prepare them for successful futures.
