DenverWorks is a faith-based nonprofit whose mission is to empower the unemployed and those with barriers to employment to become self-supporting through job preparation and placement. For over 18 years we have provided job preparation and placement services to job seekers with barriers to employment. To date 6/17/2014 - DenverWorks has served 29,557 participants through our programs, workshops and services. Our Job Readiness Workshop equips job seekers for a successful employment search. Clients attend a half-day job readiness workshop and are then matched with a client manager who provides individualized job search assistance to include career counseling, resume preparation, community voice mail and e-mail setup, interview coaching, job leads, and community referrals.
