About Creating Adventures

For many, age is merely a number and they still want to enjoy many of the activities they will have loved as a child but are available as an adult or sadly, deemed by society to be socially unacceptable.

Creating Adventures is about breaking down those perceptions and barriers that exist in the community and giving adults in need the activities that they want to enjoy.

We do this through music, songwriting, arts, sports and are always looking to provide other activities which are expressed as a need by the adults and their carers.

In order to impact the lives of those adults in our communities we raise funds through grants and foundations, events and ask for local companies to support our cause by choosing us as charity of the year. This not only helps us to deliver these amazing life changing activities but also helps us to raise our profile which for a small local charity is hugely important.

We ask for support in the following ways:
Sponsorship
Charitable donations and gifts in kind
Participating in fundraising events and sponsored challenges
Corporate support
Linking us to influential people
Joining our board of Trustees
Volunteering at an event or supporting an activity
Gift of skills
Running your own fundraising event with our support
